Easter Eggs Scrapping Style

Coloring Easter eggs has always been a family event,  but this year only 1 of my children was home for Easter.  That left us 18 eggs and not very much time to get them all colored. - Scrapbook supplies to the rescue!  We finished some before going to Easter Vigil Mass, but still had 6 left to color and it was after midnight Saturday night.

For these eggs, after adding some color I used some of my Want 2 Scrap bling on some of the eggs. Just a little piece of bling really really makes the eggs look elegant.  This also allowed me to use up leftover pieces of bling so that nothing goes to waste.

For the next set of eggs we stamped on them using Momento ink and Mama Elephant "Honey Bunny" stamps. Again we colored the eggs first and let them dry a few minutes.  Then, to stamp on the eggs, the clear stamps worked the best without an acrylic block.  This allowed us to bend the stamp to meet the contour of the egg.  The clear stamp also let us realign the stamp if we missed a part. (the bunny's feet didn't show up the first time I tried it, but it was easily remedied.) I think next year we will include more of these in our  eggs in our Easter crafting!
