Kaisercraft Yuletide mini album

This design was done for the Scrapbooks Plus Design Team.  I used the Yuletide 6 1/2" paper pad  along with Graphic45 tag album.  Most of the pages are made from the regular tags, adding Yuletide paper stickers and collectibles.

I added one large tag which I scored and folded to make a pocket.
Perfect for holiday memories!

Halloween box with Graphic 45

Back in  summer, I entered my Good 'ol Sport Mini Album in Graphic 45's July challenge.  I was one of the winners!  Graphic 45 sent me a complete array of An Eerie Tale products- 12 x 12 and 6 x 6 paper pads, stickers, chipboard and tags along with some of their staples.  It was a wonderful prize!  So, I decided that my first project with it would be a little wooden box that I found at Michael's.  The box has a built in magnetic clasp and will look adorable holding candy on my desk at school.

The flowers were colored with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist  with Want to scrap rhinestone centers and swirls.

The inside is lined with more An Eerie Tale paper and pockets.  After Halloween I will fill it with photos.

Happy Scrappin!

Altered Clipboard

Time to mix it up a little - I decided to do an altered art project instead of a layout.  I found this small plastic clipboard in a box in the garage and decided that it could use a makeover.  This is the final outcome.
The paper and the buttons are from the Enchanted Garden Collection by Bo Bunny.

The edges were chalked with Color Box Wisteria.

The flowers were colored with Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.  I almost always buy white flowers and color them to match my project.

I think it will make a nice addition to my classroom.

Happy Scrappin!

Silver Storm Dance Team

It's been awhile since I posted anything on my blog.  I have been creating, just not posting.  Dance team layouts seem to be limited.  My earlier one is probably my most popular Pinterest pin, so, I though it was time to create another dance team layout.  This one highlight's my oldest daughter's college team.

I love the photo my husband took of just my daughter's poms.

Life is a Beautiful Ride!

Well, last year I did not blog nearly as much as I had hoped; nor did I get much time to scrapbook.  So this year I am not making any big resolution I am just going to try to improve my creativity. My first layout for the year is using the Chalk Studio line from My Minds Eye.  It is the perfect paper for a photo I have of my husband as his sister when they were children.   My husband and his sister were photographed in Rome with Jayne Mansfield.  The photo made the local Rome papers.
Life is a Beautiful Ride! Rome, Italy 1964.
The Chalk Studio line has tags, brads, chipboard and stickers - the makings of a great layout!  I added some Prima flowers that I won from the Creating Keepsakes blog.  The last addition was chalk tape by Fancy Pants.  This tape is so versatile.  You can use it in scrapbooking, but also for general labeling around the house!  For permanent labels - on layouts I bought a white chalk pen.

I can't wait for Chalk Studio II to arrive in local stores!  Happy scrapping!
