Graduation Card

So I can't believe that it has been over a year since I have posted anything on this blog.  Time sure does fly!  Since my last post my youngest 2 children (the twins) have graduated from college.

So since it is graduation season I will show you my latest graduation card.  This is one I made for students at the high school I teach at.  Personalized paper for our high school was purchased from Scrapbook Customs.

I love making shaker cards with the Fuse tool.  I use the same die that cuts out the black stitched circle as a guide to seal the acetate pocket. The pocket is filled with chunky glitter, little graduation caps, and swirls which are both cut from Taylored Expressions dies.  The large graduation cap and diploma on the outside of the circle are also cut from Taylored Expressions dies. Once the pocket is assembled I embossed the year onto white paper, glued it and the shaker over the patterned paper.

The "Class of is embossed in gold also.  It is from the same stamp set as the year from The Stamps of Life.
